Nestled in a perfect place with pine woods in the backyard and fascinating view of the historic Wangduecholing palace and the adjoining village in the forefront, Mountain Lodge is a serene place to dine and take a respite. It is also walking distance to Wangduecholing palace, Jakar Dzong, and Chamkhar Town. Mountain Lodge is located about one km north of Jakar town, on the way to Kurjey Lhakhang. The hotel is a family operated business and being one of the oldest hotels in Bumthang, they are quite efficient. A total of 27 rooms are paneled with wood and quite warm with the traditional fireplace installed. The types of rooms available are double rooms, single & deluxe rooms.
24 hours of running water and continuous supply of hot water. The staffs are well trained to meet the demands of the guests and are very friendly and warm. The dining experience is amazing with the delicious meals that are served. The overall experience can be described as professional yet very homely and efficient.
