Hotel Overview
This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay in Bhutan. It is a newly constructed resort located in the Paro valley about 20-30minutes from the Airport. We stayed in a room located in a four-suite cottage a short walk from the main resort building.

About Naksel Boutique Hotel and Spa
The view over the valley, the surrounding hills, and the distance Himalayas is breathtaking. Each room has a small outside deck with table & chairs. The rooms are large with large beds, shower, bath, Western toilet, heated floors in the bathroom, table & chairs, and desk. There is free wireless internet in the rooms and it work very well. The central resort building contains a lounge and an outside deck both with views over the valley. There is also a store, a restaurant, bar and a computer room. The food we were served as part of the tour was excellent. They may have more facilities, but we did not make use of all of them. The staff was friend, helpful to the point of being solicitous. Most spoke adequate to excellent English. Since the cost of travel in Bhutan is fixed, price is not an issue here, but this place would be worth paying for an upgrade. We stayed hear as part of a four day tour of Bhutan arranged through Rainbow Tours. Naksel Resort would be a good base to explore the area (Paro dzong, Tiger’s Nest, etc) or if you just wanted to relax for a day or two at the end of a longer tour of Bhutan.
