Can i ise Indian Rupee in Bhutan

Indian Rupee is generally accepted by most service providers. However with the recent demonetization of certain denominations, please note that most service providers will only accept INR 100 notes at the moment.

oh..new 500 notes and 2000 indian notes do not work in Bhutan at the moment?

At the moment the central bank of Bhutan has advised not to accept these denominations.
