For travelers visiting Bhutan, it is easy to get a prepaid mobile SIM card from either B-Mobile (Bhutan Telecom) or TashiCell. Both providers offer voice, text and data services.

How to get a SIM card in Bhutan

You can visit any mobile shop and apply for a tourist SIM card. You can also avail tourist SIM card at the airport. You would either need a copy of your passport or voter ID card (For Indian nationals only).

How much does it cost?

The cost of the prepaid SIM is Nu. 100 for B-Mobile and Nu. 200 for TashiCell and comes loaded with the same amount of talk time.
